Useful AI starts with good data
Without up-to-date data, AI can only guess – and in HR, guesswork isn't good enough. Hailey is simple enough to be used every day by HR, managers and employees, so the data stays current and complete. That gives Peep something many AI tools lack: data you can rely on.
There's a simple reason Peep has a name and a personality: it should feel as natural as everything else in Hailey.
Every new AI feature must be secure, stable and useful in everyday work. If it falls short on any of these, it doesn't ship, however much it's trending. We set clear priorities and risk-assess every feature before it reaches you.

AI in HR is moving fast, from generating content to agents that give you deep insight into your organisation. Hailey is with you every step of the way, with a focus on three areas:
Assistive AI
Peep is built into the workflows you use most and takes care of the tasks that eat into your day. It writes smart summaries, creates drafts and templates, and answers employees' most common questions directly in the app.
Agentic AI
Your HR system holds more than you'll ever have time to go through: years of employee surveys, organisational data and statistics. Hailey's agents work through all of it in a fraction of the time, uncovering patterns and trends that would otherwise stay hidden.
Connected
More and more organisations are building their own set of AI tools and agents. With Hailey MCP, Hailey becomes part of that ecosystem. Your tools get access to your HR data with the same structure and permissions as in Hailey.
Before AI gets access to your HR data
Responsible AI means never forgetting that we work with sensitive personal data:
- Your data stays yours. It is never used to train AI models.
- EU-sovereign infrastructure. Data is stored and processed within the EU, by European-owned providers.
- Role-based access. The same permissions you already have in Hailey. No one sees more through AI than they already can.
- Human oversight. Decisions about people are always made by a person, and critical actions are reviewed and approved before they are carried out.
- Built on your HR logic. The AI follows the workflows you have already set up.
Hailey's own AI runs exclusively on open models, hosted by our European provider Scaleway on servers in France, and your data is never passed on to third-party AI services.
